It is now a legislative requirement that all staff new to learning disability services undertake LDAF induction module training within their first six weeks of employment. The requirement is that they also complete the LDAF Foundation module training within 6 months (Valuing People: A New Strategy for Learning Disability for the 21st Century).

Interactive Development delivers a successful training programme that meets all of LDAF induction and Foundation module learning outcomes and pass criteria. Our programme also includes marking of assignment (including referred work), tutorial support and arrangements for certification etc. The training is delivered by suitably qualified Training Officers, all of whom have had experience of providing services to people with learning disabilities. The programme is also appropriate for experienced staff who need or want to update their knowledge of current legislation and good practice.
