Voices for Choices form Social Group
Voices for Choices is a forum for people who receive support from ID to come along and have a say about how services are developed and improved. The group meet every month and discuss relevant issues related to support services. One area of interest for a number of people in the group has been about making friends and going to events or activities with others who have shared interests. As a result of this a social group has developed, and the groups first event was recently held at The Rising Sun Country Park. A number of people attended and enjoying both the setting and the chance to get to know each other.
Further events will be organised in the near future and will include bowling, pubbing and clubbing as well as aiming to plan a fundraising event.
