Jobs Coaching
What is a Jobs Coach?
A Jobs Coach is someone who will support you to find a job and will stay with you in your job until you are as independent as you can be.
What can you expect from ID?
ID will provide you with someone who is specially training to be a Jobs Coach. They will support you to follow ID's 6 stage process to find a paid job. You will be supported at whatever stage you are at in finding employment, at your pace, consulting with you every step of the way.
How to get a Jobs Coach.
If you have an Individual budget or Direct Payment we can talk to you about how you can buy the support you would need to get a Jobs Coach. If you don't buy your own support then you can talk to your Social Worker about accessing the Jobs Coaching service that ID provides.
ID's aim is to support people to find jobs where they are a truly valued member of a staff team, and are treated as equals by their colleagues. People who access ID's Job Coaching service will be supported to carry out their role successfully, building friendships and participating in social events.
