Enabling Support
What is Enabling Support?
Enabling services are for people who require support to access education, employment and other general activities and do not need help with accommodation based daily living. We support people by helping them to find out about the choices available to them and plan and support each individual to access their chosen pursuits.
Who can have an Enabling Support service and how does it work?
This service is designed for anyone who has funding either from the Local Authority, or using a personal budget to access community based facilities. We will help you to develop a person centred plan which will detail the support that you need to do the things that you want to do. We will then support you to pursue employment education or leisure interests with an aim to increase your independence and develop social networks.
How to get an enabling support service?
Our enabling service is flexible to help people to access chosen activities any time and day of the week. If you are interested in finding out more we can come and talk to you to discuss your support needs.
