
In September 2011 eight ID learners travelled to Denmark to take part in a European Lifelong Learning Programme, funded by Leanardo. The LLP (Lifelong Learning Programme) provides grants for all areas of education, training and learning. It provides opportunities for organisations, staff and learners involved in education and training across Europe to work together, learn from each others' expertise, and widen their experience of other cultures and languages. Leonardo is a European programme, which means that the grants come from the European Union. All the activities funded through Leonardo have a European element to them.

We visited Hvidovre production school located just outside of Copenhagen, all of our learners attended different workshops over a two week period. They were able to explore different ways and different approaches to education and training in different subject areas.
