Travelling from St James' Park. At Gallowgate Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A189 (signposted The South, Gateshead). Continue down Blenheim Street (St James Boulevard) through four sets of traffic lights. Turn left before the Redheugh Bridge (following signs for Blaydon A695 and Quayside B1600). At traffic signals turn right then right again onto Railway Street (signposted Blaydon). Bear right onto Plummer Street. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Scotswood Road - A695 (signposted Blaydon, Hexham, Jedburgh).
Continue on Scotswood Road until you reach Scotswood Bridge (approx 3 miles). Stay in the left lane as this merges onto Scotswood Bridge (River Tyne). On the far side, move to the right hand lane (signposted Ryton, Prudhoe). At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A695 (signposted Prudhoe, Hexham). Continue along the A695 until you see the sign for the Train Station (approx 4 miles). Turn right then continue down the bank. Take the first left. Prudhoe Riverside Centre is on the left hand side.
