I.D. is an independent educational provider working with learners who have learning difficulties and disabilities.
Our educational provision is developed on the recognition of the rights of learners with learning difficulties and disabilities to engage in educational activity and work toward achieving their potential. We aim to deliver appropriate and meaningful learning opportunties in an innovative, creative and challenging way.
Our programmes are designed to support students in establishing a firm foundation of skills that will enable them to work toward their potential and to take greater control in their lives.
Our educational activity is individually targeted and focussed on communication, personal and group skills, building on achievement to develop confidence and prepare for progression.
We deliver through a variety of subjects and responses to student interest employing a range of strategies focussed on developing active engagement from all learners.

I.D. has a base of experienced, enthusiastic and committed staff who share a belief in every individual's right to access learning that helps to empower them in their adult lives.

I.D. will review and improve our provision through staff development and training as well as the sharing of good practice within and beyond the organisation.

To increase the effectiveness of our provision for our student group for our student group we will work to develop stronger links with carers and other agencies.
